U3A Croydon

The only degree you need is a degree of enthusiasm!

The word “university” might be in our official name but it just indicates where the world-wide organisation started.  In reality we just share the skills and knowledge we have collected over a lifetime and have a lot of fun doing it.  Anyone who is retired or semi-retired is welcome in our organisation.  We have classes every weekday between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. during school terms  and most last for a maximum of 2 hours each week.

If there is something you have always wanted to do but only now that you have reached the age of active retirement have the time to do it, there is a fair chance one of our nearly 100 classes will be able to satisfy your desire.  On the other hand if you have a passion you would like to share with others you will be very welcome and we will help you set up a plan if you need assistance.

An annual subscription of $50 allows you to attend up to 6 classes.  Computer classes cost an extra $20 a term and some other classes incur a small additional fee when materials are supplied or books required.  Call into our office at the Keystone Hall complex behind the Arndale Shopping Centre, register on line using the link on our website at www.u3acroydon.org.au or call us on 9724 9544 between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. any week day during school terms.  You can also contact us by e-mail on u3acroydon@u3acroydon.org.au
